Q: Can I visit Buggy?
A: Yes! The retail shop is open Wednesday – Friday 11am – 6pm, Saturday & Sunday 10am – 4pm, closed Monday & Tuesday. It is a comfortable place, with a couch for tired folks and a playtable for busy kids. There is a restroom for the kid that has gotta go(!) It is also a gathering place for the community. Buggy hosts a monthly Knit Night for crafters to get together to work, inspire and gossip about the goings on of their life and neighborhood. Buggy also occasionally hosts special events to enhance the lives of parents.
Q: Where is Buggy located?
A: The Madrona neighborhood in Seattle, Washington. We are located UPSTAIRS at 1422 34th Ave, right in the heart of Madrona’s retail core. Come to Buggy, then walk down 34th Avenue and visit a fun assortment of local shops, grab lunch at one of the delicious restaurants and head to the park with a coffee and treat in hand with your favorite small person!
Q: Are your clothing and shoes new?
A: You can find new and nearly-new items.
Buggy sells clothing that is fun, functional and in fabulous condition. We love being green and are excited to help our customers be greener. In addition to selling great gently-used clothing and shoes, Buggy carries a lovely selection of new wearables, books, toys and gift items. We choose items for our shop that we love, believe in, covet and dream of owning.
Q: Can I bring items into the shop for you to buy?
A: Yes. By appointment only. Please see our Buying Policies below.
Buggy Buying Policies:
We buy high-quality, gently-used infant to size 6 clothing, newborn to size 12 shoes, and maternity clothing and accessories. Higher-end clothing is preferred. Buggy offers customers 35% in Store Credit of the retail value for items chosen at our discretion. We will assign your Store Credit immediately, no waiting for items to sell or pulling unsold items from the floor! Buggy Store Credit can be used for everything in the shop except Ergo Baby Carriers and Livie & Luca Shoes.
Please remember the following rules for bringing in your items:
Everything must be freshly laundered.
Items must be free of rips, stains, tears and excessive wear.
Items should be never worn or gently-used.
No more than 30 items at a time.
We accept items for the current season. Occasionally we accept off-season items if they are high-quality.
Please note we will not take items this August - October.

Q: What & When is Knit Night?!
A: Knit Night is on Summer Vacation April – September; taking time to enjoy Seattle sunshine and collect ideas for cozy winter projects! The next Knit Night will meet this Fall in the month of October.
Knit Night is 7pm – 10pm on the last Friday of the month, unless it falls on a holiday and then we host Knit Night the week before. Oh, and sometimes we take the summer off. It’s the perfect opportunity to work on an unfinished project that’s been sitting around for (ahem) years or to find inspiration to start something new. Knitting is such a wonderful way to socialize, feel productive and relax all at the same time. Come spend some time with neighbors and friends. All crafters welcome!
